
SheRise
SheRise is ARISE Foundation’s flagship women entrepreneurship programme in Côte d’Ivoire, run in partnership with Fondation SEPHIS and funded by German Cooperation through GIZ’s Invest For Jobs initiative (part of the West African Women Initiative, WAWI).

How It Work
An intensive training programme (74 hours over 10 days) covering leadership, financial literacy, supply chains, marketing, HR, and branding.Participants are then connected to financial partners (Baobab and Fin’Ellein this cohort) to structure loans.
Impact
Through SheRise, FICAGRI – a cassava processing cooperative accessed semi-industrial equipment, shifting women entreprenurs from long hours of manual labor to better output and a more resilient value chain.

The technical assistance component is financed by German Cooperation through the Invest For Jobs initiative, as part of the West African Women Initiative (WAWI) implemented by GIZ.
Funding covers training, logistics, visual identity support, operational costs, and materials.
